Colorado River

On the highway, to Colorado, State of four corners, the source of the USA
On the railway, from pacific, rumbling iron, to the heart of the USA

From Boulder there´s a river that struggels more than a million years,
ranting through the wild and rocky plains.

The colorado formed an Eldorado like Ophir,
engraves storys in the stones, does not explain.

The Lousiana Purchase gently completes,
stars and stripes, the peakes of Front Range,
the Garden of Gods.

I am rafting, from grand junction, wooden horses seems like rodeo
Foamy water sprays a feeling, indian summer is coming very slow

The Chinook howls around the hoodoos, summer symphony,
At this water shores it never snows.

You feel the human history is painting this blue sky
And you will be back the next spring, of course I know.

The Lousiana Purchase gently completes,
stars and stripes, the peakes of Front Range,
the Garden of Gods.

On Highway twentyfive we will be back soon,
we come from the south, we come from the east,
even from  the moon.
